Performans görevinin ekim ayındaki aşamasında öğrenciler programdaki yönergeye göre çalıştı: “They will present it to the class and ask the other pupils to guess who the people and places they will present in their diary/journal page.” Görev sürecinde öğrenciler hedef sözcük ve yapıları kullanarak ürünlerini hazırladı ve sınıfla paylaştı. Öğrencilerden introductions at school, people at school, places at school, months, year sözcüklerini içeren kısa bir sözcük defteri veya görsel sözlük hazırlamaları istendi.
Ekim ayında 3. sınıf İngilizce dersinde “School Life” ve “Classroom Life” temaları çerçevesinde 46 öğrenme çıktısı (ENG.3.1.L1–ENG.3.2.S6) ele alındı.
